what is Design Tank HI and what is the point?

I don't have a clue. I started this because I got sick and tired of my life and didn't know what else to do. I'm groping through life for some meaning and thought this would be a decent vehicle for it and to make some friends who care about design and care about Hawaii. Anyone out there? I don't want this to be some self-promotive attempt at grandiosity- I want to find something worthwhile to do rather than watch people mentally masturbate on CNN. I want to take design to a level that would be competitive to places I WOULD have moved to if I didn't feel obligated to stay in Hawaii. I'm talking about the Brain Drain. I'm talking about saving the home I love... and I don't want to get lost in these limitations. I also don't want to get lost amongst the pretentious minds of the design world. I'm talking about our environment... I'm talking about... I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm talking about finding love in design.

And what the fuck does a Doctor of Architecture mean anyway?
